Hailing from France towards the end
of the Hundred Years War, Benoît was a soldier
in the French army fighting against the English when
his brother's deviant lifestyle led him to discover
the Secret World. From that moment, he dedicated his
life to aiding those that who would foster the good
in humanity, and destroying those that would see it
harmed.
Shortly afterwards, he received a visitation from
the angel Alistair, who granted him eternal youth
so that he may complete his quest. Travelling across
Europe, Benoît met with others of his kind and
joined the order of Grail Knights. In the Ottoman
Empire, he met with Ambrose Constantine, a Gargoyle
that quickly became his firm friend.
Years later, the Death Knell would take them both
to the New World, where Benoît continued his
work with the Grail Knights to unite all those that
would stand against the darkness. In fact, it was
this darkness that would take him to New London, where
a diffuse, unnameable evil was lurking somewhere amidst
the mist-wreathed marshes.
He has remained in the city ever since, working hard
to gather information on the force threatening the
city and helping New London's poor and needy. These
nights, he is often seen in the docklands trawling
the streets on his motorcycle, or in the homeless
shelter helping the volunteer's with their work. He
also visit's Euterpe's Coffee House regularly where
he meets with his closest friend Ambrose Constantine,
their bonds of friendship seeming to have survived
even the trying times of the last hundred years.
Benoît is an imposing man,
standing a little over 6ft 2" with short, dishwater-blonde
hair and stormy grey-blue eyes. He's dressed, more
often than not, in black bike leathers, and is almost
always accompanied by the roaring engine of his beloved
Hayabusa motorcycle on the streets of New London's
docklands.
